Emotions Represented As Colors: A General Idea


Emotions can be represented by a certain color. They can be categorized into different colors.



  • Red - Emotions that can be represented by this color would be: anger and rage.
  • Orange - Seriousness can be associated with this color. 
  • Yellow - Fear can be seen with this color. Alternatively, yellow can mean happiness as well.
  • Green - Happiness and joy are often seen. In some cases, jealousy and envy are associated with green.
  • Blue - Depression , grief are among some of the emotions with this color. Blue can also show fear.
  • Purple - Emotions that can be seen would be disgust and loathing.
  • Pink - Love is a common emotion.
This is sort of a general idea. There is some different opinions on which color represents which emotion.
